I am strictly vegetarian, so I didn’t taste any non-vegetarian dishes, but I collected all the information on it and now I’m sharing with you.

Where to try it: One of the best places to get this delicious sandwich is at the ‘Carousel Bakery‘ in St. Lawrance Market. They have been serving up this classic since 1977 and it’s considered one of the best in the city. 

The combination of crispy, juicy bacon with a fresh bun and your choice of condiments makes for a savory. 

It’s a simple and comforting meal as well as brunch option also that shows Toronto’s love for classic, hearty food.

Butter Tarts are a favorite Canadian desert, and people in Toronto really enjoy them too. It’s my favorite dish also. Its taste is so amazing!

The butter tart is a Canadian desert. Its rich, sugary filling and flaky crushed create a perfect blend of textures and flavors that’s hard to resist. Each bite is a little taste of little comfort food.

Sometimes, they also have vanilla, nuts or raisins in them for extra flavor and texture.

Important: If you are allergic of nuts make sure before you eat. 

Where to try it: For a taste of this classic treat head to ‘Baker Street‘ or ‘Sweet Escapes‘. Both offer delicious, homemade butter tarts that showcase the best of this Canadian favorite. 

It’s soooo delicious! If you don’t try this desert, you feel something is missing from your food scene.

This dish is originally from Quebec, but it is very popular in Toronto too. It’s a comfort food made with French fries covered in cheese, curds and gravy. 

Many restaurants in Toronto serve poutine, often with their own variations.

4. Jerk Chicken:

Absolutely, if you are a vegetarian, you can still enjoy poutine with these tasty variations. 

1.Classic Vegetarian Poutine

This dish uses vegetarian gravy instead of beef gravy. It keeps the crispy fries and cheese curds. 

As I am vegetarian, I tried this dish and its taste was so amazing!

2.Mushroom Gravy Poutine

This poutine has a savory mushroom gravy that gives it a rich earthy flavor.

Great! If you love mushrooms and not allergic to them.
